Hi, it's Zack
I'm a Product/UX designer.
I believe great design is felt before it is seen.
My interest in UX started with a strangely specific detail: book margins. They are not just empty space. They are designed so your fingers do not cover the text. That small moment changed how I think about design — the best experiences often come from decisions people barely notice.
That idea still shapes how I work today. I’ve designed across B2B SaaS, consumer growth, internal tools, HMI, grocery and travel. Different domains, same challenge: learn the logic, map the mess, and make the next step feel obvious.
My superpower is getting fluent fast — especially in complex products. I like learning the logic behind a system, finding my way through the messy parts, and turning confusion into clear design decisions.
I’m allergic to inefficiency. I like trying new tools, refining workflows, and making small changes that remove friction from everyday work. Figma is a good example. Somehow, I’ve helped teams move from Sketch to Figma twice. Now I’m doing the same thing with AI workflows — design faster, prototype quicker, and build small tools that save everybody's time.
Outside of design, I read manga, watch anime, take photos, and chase sunsets. I also spend way too much time planning trips and hunting for the best-value routes. Recently, I’ve been vibe-coding small tools, including one for manga translation and one for trip planning. I like building stuff around what I love.
I speak English and Mandarin, some French, and a little Japanese. I’m still learning — languages, tools, systems, and better ways to make things work.
